The "China Intelligent Wearable Technology Innovation Forum (2023)" Successfully Concludes, Hosted by the SUSTech SME

The 2023 "China Intelligent Wearable Technology Innovation Forum," organized by the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology and the Shenzhen Society of Micro-Nano Technology, and hosted by the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the School of Microelectronics of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), was successfully held from November 4 to 6 in Shenzhen, China.

Professor Yu Hongyu, Dean of the SUSTech the School of Microelectronics, delivered the opening speech. On behalf of the host institutions, SUSTech and the School of Microelectronics, he extended a warm welcome to the invited guests and attendees, expressed sincere gratitude to friends who have supported the college's reform, construction, and development, and invited everyone to engage in academic exchanges and collaboration in Shenzhen.

The forum focused on the field of "intelligent wearable technology," bringing together outstanding research institutions, industry-leading enterprises, and industrial chain projects to discuss cutting-edge topics, breakthroughs, development trends, opportunities, and challenges in the field of intelligent wearables. The forum featured keynote presentations by several experts and scholars, including Academician Zhang Yuanting from the Hong Kong Institute of Medical Engineering (KIME), covering areas such as medical testing, sensor devices and systems, and biomimetic materials and technologies.

Over the three-day forum, nine sub-forums were organized, featuring more than 200 academic presentations on topics such as intelligent wearable materials, flexible electronic devices, MEMS sensors, flexible displays and micro-nano optoelectronic devices, energy devices, smart textiles, key robotics technologies, and applications in human-computer interaction and healthcare. Experts and scholars engaged in extensive discussions on innovative achievements and practical applications related to the forum themes.
