Introduction to the School 

The School of Microelectronics at Southern University of Science and Technology is a National Demonstration Microelectronics School. The School boasts first-class research platforms, including the Micro/Nano Fabrication R&D Platform and the IC Design and Testing Platform. It focuses on four major research areas: integrated circuit design methodology, integrated circuit chip design, integrated circuit manufacturing and process, and micro/nano systems and integration. The School has obtained numerous national, provincial, and municipal accolades in research, including the National Demonstration Microelectronics School (one of only 28 in China and 3 in Southern China), the Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center for Future Communication ICs, the Guangdong Provincial GaN Device Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Third-Generation Semiconductor Devices. The School is now inviting applications globally for teaching and research faculty positions.

Open Positions: Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor.

Priority areas include: Semiconductor Physics and Chemistry, Semicondcutor Devices & Materials, Integrated Circuit Design, EDA, and Systems & Applications. Outstanding candidates in other fields of microelectronics are also encouraged to apply. Industry experience is highly valued.

An International Young Scholars Forum will be held on January 9, 2026 (online/on-site) for candidates to interact with our faculty. Applications are welcome by December 31, 2025.
