SUSTech School of Microelectronics Selected as a National Model

China’s Ministry of Education (The Ministry) has officially approved the SUSTech School of Microelectronics as a National Exemplary School of Microelectronics. It is a significant achievement of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) that accelerates its development.

This announcement reflects SUSTech’s advantages in professional and talent training in microelectronics. The development of the National Exemplary School of Microelectronics aims to meet the urgent needs of high-quality talents for the integrated circuit industry.

The Preparatory Office of SUSTech School of Microelectronics was established on June 1st 2018. The School has been strongly supported by the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Education, Shenzhen Bureau of Education and SUSTech Board of Trustees.

Under the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Strategic Plan, the School is an innovative institution. It was co-founded by SUSTech and world-renowned universities Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong University and Macao University.
