Dr. Xuan Ma graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and worked in Orbbec Co., Ltd., as a postdoctoral fellow at Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He joined the School of Microelectronics, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUST) in 2022. Xuan Ma has long been engaged in the research of pixelated-polarization camera, i-ToF, d-ToF and Lidar, and has rich experience in error and algorithm optimization, optical and system-level scheme design and simulation. His research fields mainly include: i-ToF error optimization and novel algorithm and calibration, design and simulation of d-ToF system scheme, design and simulation verification of Lidar optical scheme, integration, optimization and application research of pixelated-polarization camera, DVS+3D fusion sensor, widely used in automatic driving, smart city, AR/VR. He has published more than 4 papers in international academic journals and conferences, including Sensors and Actuators, B: Chemical, Optics Express, and more than 40 patents.
