Dr. Dashuai Wang received his Ph.D. degree from the College of Engineering, China Agriculture University in 2019. As a Research Assistant Professor, he joined the School of Microelectronics, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in 2021. Prior to his appointment in SUSTech, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences and was awarded the title of Senior Engineer in 2022. Dr. Wang’s research focuses on Computer Vision (CV), Deep Learning (DL), Agricultural Robots (AR), Precision Agriculture (PA). He has a rich experience in the research on the intersection of CV, DL, AR and PA, and has authored and co-authored more than 15 publications in prestigious journals and conference proceedings. At present, as the project leader, he has been approved for EIGHT fund projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Program, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, etc. Additionally, he participated in FIVE high-level projects, such as the Shenzhen Joint Fund Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Guangdong Provincial R&D Program in Key Fields.
